Teacher Grants

• Opportunity for teachers to dream big and provide innovative opportunities and experiences to their classrooms and grade levels.

District Wide Initiatives

• FSD Fest - District Wide Showcase, with all our 21 schools  participating in projects that include: Spotlight Speakers (Ted Talk Style Presentations), Film Festival, Passion Agent Projects, Innovation Experience (each school highlighting a special project), Global Games (Students changing the world through games), ESports Competition, League of Literacy (Reading competition and activities supporting comprehension), Wonder of Water (an art exhibition).

• STEM Nation - an asynchronous, student-paced STEM experience where learners build experiences on several categories: the design thinking process, computational thinking, robotics, and STEM careers. The outcome for STEM Nation is for students to build computational thinking, design thinking, and strong habits of mind as they make STEM connections across multiple content areas.

• Student Board Leadership - As voting members of our board of directors, the program is designed to engage Junior High students and  provide the opportunity to participate in real-world challenges, facilitate critical thinking and communication skills among professionals. Our students benefit from the transformational experience, all while representing the needs of their school site.

• Tiny House Big Impact - Providing Jr. High students with a rich hands on experience in sustainable design, engineering and construction, while addressing housing insecurity in our local community. In addition the program builds on the wood shop and Festo lab classes offering a real world application for future career readiness. “Fullerton School District students and community partners engineering for social good”​
